How we work with you

We work closely with our customers to understand their needs, their current setup, and what we need to build. Here’s how we do it…

Discovery

One of the main advantages of our connected workspaces is that they’re built around you and your business, and we know every business is different.

We’ll spend time getting to know about your business, the way you do things, the tools you already use, and the key things you’re looking to improve.

That gives us a good initial sense of what you need - we’ll document that and follow up in a call with you to hone it further.

Building

Once we’re agreed on the outline of the build, we will discuss and agree phasing and pricing with you before we start work.

Where we can, we use pre-existing templates as the first step in building your setup - this saves us time and saves you money. We then customise this to your requirements and build the integrations between the relevant software products.

While the total time that it takes for us to build everything for you is a few days, the work usually takes place over a few weeks at least. This for a couple of reasons - at certain points, you will want time to review what has been built so far and think about any changes and additions you want to be made.

At other points, you will need to add the details for your existing software as we integrate it into the new system.

Sign-off

Once you’re happy, we’ll hand everything over to you. You’re not on your own, though - we also provide ongoing support and, with your permission, you’ll be part of the Nova Community where you can ask questions, make suggestions and learn about new features.

Support

Self-service

Where possible, it is better for us and for you if you can build and fix things for yourself. We will include documentation about how things work and how you can fix common problems within the products themselves.

We think being able to see how things should work, rather than read about it, is the easiest way to understand these tools, so so we'll provide you with videos to walk you through common problems.

Support from us

Most importantly, if there are things that are our fault, such as bugs, we will fix them for free, regardless of how long it takes.

For anything else, including additional features that you want developing, get in touch with us. If it takes minutes, we will often do it for free. If it takes hours, we will discuss and agree pricing with you.

Given that these tools can provide the infrastructure for your entire business, you might wonder what would happen if we were not here?

All of these products have huge user bases - Notion, for example, has over 100 million users. There is a ton of ongoing support online, both from the products themselves as well as huge online communities and other consultants who can help.
